Back at Christmas of 1997, Paige Hoover came into the studio with a Little Golden Book of Anastasia. "I have a great idea for a christmas present for your kids and for my nephews! We can record an audio version of this book!"
I looked at the book and realized Paige was again on to something cool. We went out, bought the Anastasia CD and set to work. Paige and I had a blast recording it and the present was a big hit! It was so popular infact, that we made over 300 copies for other friends and kids. We never charged a dime (as the content was very obviously copyrighted) which our lawyer assured us was still within 'acceptable use' guidelines as long as we were not making a profit. |
